Business question from Greg Clark (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 22 November 2007. It occurred during Business statement on Business of the House.
Business of the House
Will the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster come to the House to make a statement? One of his responsibilities is the Central Sponsor for Information Assurance, which is a team in the Cabinet Office. When the Cabinet Office commissioned an expert report on information security in July, the conclusion was that"““adequate mechanisms are not yet in place””." Will the Chancellor come to the House to tell us why he failed to act on the recommendations of that report?
