Immigration: Children

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department pursuant to her written ministerial statement of 31 January 2008, Official Report, columns 28-29WS, on care for children in the immigration system, which local authorities will be part of the network of specialist local authorities looking after unaccompanied asylum seeking children.
Answer

The location of the specialist network is currently being discussed with local authorities.
