Oral question asked in the House of Lords, by Lord Fowler (Conservative). It was answered on Monday, 4 February 2008.
House of Lords: Accommodation
- Question
- My Lords, am I not right in thinking that there is empty accommodation only a short distance down Millbank that is owned by the House of Commons? Have there been discussions on the use of that accommodation? It would be more convenient and save public funds.
- Answer
-
Yes, my Lords, there have been discussions and they have been fruitless, as far as this House is concerned.
