- asked Her Majesty's Government:What is the cost of administering the rod licence scheme in England and Wales; and what revenue has been generated from it in each of the past five years for which figures are available.

In 2006-07, the cost of administering the rod licence scheme was £1.64 million. The revenue from rod licences over the last five years is shown in the table below.
