Migration: Statistics

Question: To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what additional resources are being made available to the Office for National Statistics to undertake the workplan it has recommended to improve migration estimates.

Answer: The information requested falls within the responsibility of the UK Statistics Authority. ONS will also be making a related announcement that will provide the details of the migration statistics improvement programme."
