Gross Domestic Product
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what assessment he has made of the most recent gross domestic product growth figures for Scotland; and if he will make a statement.

The most recent Scottish GDP figures, covering the year to 2007 Quarter 4, show annual economic growth of 2.2 per cent. This is above the long-run trend rate of growth, which is 1.9 per cent.
