Young Offender Institutions

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice what the (a) operational and (b) certified normal capacity is of each (i) young offender institution and (ii) secure training centre.
Answer

The operational capacity and in use certified normal capacity for each young offender and juvenile¹ institution at the end of March 2008 is shown in table A. Young offenders held in adult categorised prisons are not included.
