Lacrosse: Finance
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport how much the Youth Sports Trust spent on the development of lacrosse in the last 12 months.
- Answer
-
As a registered charity, the work of the Youth Sport Trust is to help build a better future for young people through sport. They are working with the network of school sport partnerships and sports colleges across the country to ensure all young people have access to at least five hours of PE and school sport by 2012. Their remit is not to fund individual sports, so they have not spent any money directly on Lacrosse.
