Official Cars
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what assessment she has made of the effect on the UK car manufacturing sector of policy on cars designated for ministerial use, with particular reference to the proportion of such cars manufactured (a) in and (b) outside the UK.
- Answer

The Government Car and Despatch Agency is responsible for providing official cars and drivers to Ministers and senior officials. It has made no assessment on the effect that its purchasing patterns have on the UK car manufacturing sector.
