- To ask the Secretary of State for Health what assessment he has made of the adequacy of provision of wheelchair transportation to and from NHS hospitals.

There have been no assessments made of the adequacy of provision of wheelchair transportation to and from national health service hospitals. It is for local NHS organisations and Social Services to decide how resources should to allocated and to commission appropriate services, taking account of local circumstances and priorities.
