- To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform what recent discussions he has had with telecommunication providers on the delivery of broadband services to remote parts of the UK; and if he will make a statement.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has had meetings with telecoms companies including BT, Virgin Media and Sky in recent months, when the subject of broadband was discussed and where rural broadband supply was part, but not the exclusive subject of those discussions.
