Since its launch in 2005, the Department's Taking Part survey has included ACORN codes. This data has been used to examine variations in sporting and cultural participation. This month the Department purchased the additional Financial ACORN and Health ACORN codes as well as MOSAIC codes. These have been merged with the Taking Part survey data and results will be published later this year.In 2006 the Royal Parks agency used ACORN codes to examine variations in the profile of park users against the profile of residents living in close proximity to the park.
