- Whether they forecast the economy to improve or worsen over the next year.

The Government last published forecasts for the UK and world economies in the Financial Statement and Budget Report 2008 (HC 388) on 12 March. They will update these forecasts in the 2008 Pre-Budget Report in the autumn as normal.
