Heritage: Historic Ships

- asked Her Majesty's Government:What steps they are taking to secure the future of historic ships in the forthcoming Heritage Protection Bill.

The draft Heritage Protection Bill will continue the level of protection provided by current legislation for ships fixed to land and lying wrecked on the sea bed. There are no provisions in the draft Bill specifically for the protection or management of historic ships in use.
