Cannabis

- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if she will issue new guidance to police on the issuing of warnings, cautions and charging for possession of cannabis following its re-classification as a Class B drug.

To accompany the reclassification of cannabis to a Class B drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 the Association of Chief Police Officers will issue revised guidance for a consistent national approach to the policing of the possession of cannabis in England and Wales.
