To ask the Secretary of State for Health what discussions (a) he, (b) Ministers in his Department and (c) officials in his Department have had since June 2008 with the US administration on the drug Vioxx; and if he will make a statement.

Answer

Neither Ministers nor officials in the Department have held any discussions with the United States Administration on this matter.
