Veal

- To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what estimate he has made of the size of the veal industry in England.

The domestic UK market for veal is less than 1 per cent. of total beef and veal production. Total beef and veal production in 2007 was 888,000 tonnes.
