Roads: Accidents
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many road accidents occurred in Parliament Square in each of the last 12 months; how many (a) involved and (b) were found to have been caused by persons taking part in public demonstrations opposite Carriage Gates; and if he will make a statement.

The number of reported personal injury road accidents in 2007 that occurred in Parliament Square are given in the following table:
Injury accidents January 2 February 0 March 0 April 3 May 1 June 3 July 1 August 0 September 1 October 0 November 0 December 1 Total 12 Information on the number of collisions involving or caused by persons taking part in public demonstrations opposite 'Carriage Gates' is not collected.
