Venezuela: Anti-Semitism
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what reports he has received of the attack on the Sinaan Mordejay Community Centre in Caracas on 26 February 2009; and if he will make a statement.
- Answer
-
A pipe bomb was thrown at the Sinaan Mordejay Community Centre on 26 February 2009. While there was no major damage and no injuries, we are concerned by a number of reports of anti-Semitism in Venezuela in recent months. We will continue to monitor the situation closely.
