Democratic Republic of Congo: War Crimes

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs with reference to the answer of 5 March 2009, Official Report, column 1745W, on Democratic Republic of Congo: war crimes, on what dates his officials have met representatives of the Congolese Government to discuss the indictment of Bosco Ntaganda; and whether further such meetings are planned.
Answer

Our ambassador discussed the question of the warrant for Bosco Ntaganda's arrest with the Democratic Republic of Congo's (DRC) Minister of Foreign Affairs at a meeting on 21 January 2009. Our representatives will raise the issue in future high-level exchanges with DRC Ministers and officials.
