Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport pursuant to the statement of 12 February 2009, Official Report, columns 1531-44, on new trains (investment), how many UK-based suppliers he estimates will benefit indirectly from the contract with Agility Trains.
Answer

Agility Trains announced on 12 February that it was in advanced discussions with 20 UK-based suppliers. Since then, the company has put out a call for further interested suppliers, which can be found on their website at"www.agilitytrains.com"
