I have regular meetings with chief constables and police authorities to discuss police resources. The impact of visitor numbers on police resources has previously been raised as part of those discussions. The Police Allocation Formula Working Group is in the process of reviewing the police funding formula for the next CSR period (2011-12 to 2013-14). These issues will be considered by the group in the near future.
