Wind Power: South Downs

- To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change what criteria his Department employed in determining award of the contract for the construction of wind turbines in the South Downs National Park.

The Department does not hold information on the award of contracts for any proposed wind farms in the South Downs National Park.Contracting for the construction of wind turbines is a commercial matter for the developer of the proposed project.
