Teaching Assistants: Qualifications

- To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families how many teaching assistants in each (a) primary and (b) secondary school have attained Higher Level Teaching Assistant status.

They provide the number of higher level teaching assistants in each local authority maintained nursery/primary and secondary school in England, as collected by the January 2008 School Census, the latest information available.
