Ambulances

Question
To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they regard ambulances operated by the Glengormley Ambulance and Rescue Unit as ambulances within the meaning of the Road Traffic Acts.
Answer

Road traffic law, and the definition of an ambulance within it, is a transferred matter in Northern Ireland. This is therefore a matter for the devolved Administration.
