NHS: Disclosure of Information

- To ask the Secretary of State for Health whether the NHS whistle-blowing policy applies to foundation trusts.

The Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 applies to staff employed by national health service foundation trusts. The Act provides protection to employees raising concerns, where they do so in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
