Charities

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what grants his Department made to charitable organisations in each of the last five years.
Answer

DEFRA does not hold this information centrally. The Department's grant programmes are administered by a wide range of delivery bodies. To collect the information centrally would incur disproportionate cost.
