DECC is responsible for the Government's sponsorship of the Carbon Trust (CT), of which the Carbon Label Co. (CLC) is a subsidiary. The CLC has developed the Carbon Reduction Label to help businesses and consumers understand the carbon footprints of the products and services they use.DECC has not made an estimate of the proportion of retail sales accounted for by retailers who have adopted the Carbon Reduction Label. More information on the scheme can be obtained from the Carbon Trust direct.
