- To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families what the pupil to teacher ratio in (a) primary and (b) secondary schools in Leeds West constituency was in the latest period for which figures are available; and if he will make a statement.

The following table provides the within school pupil:teacher ratios in local authority maintained primary and secondary schools in Leeds West constituency in January 2009.

Note: For statistical purposes only, pupils who do not attend both morning and afternoon at least five days a week are regarded as part-time. Each part-time pupil is treated as 0.5 FTE.
