- To ask the Minister of State, Department for Transport whether there are any plans to extend to 11 carriages all of the 52 Pendolino trains.
- Answer

The option to extend the remaining 21 Pendolino trains to 11 carriages is currently being considered by the Department for Transport and we intend to make a decision by the end of the year on whether we wish to progress this option further.
