- To ask the Secretary of State for Justice what estimate he has made of the annual running costs of the new PentiP computer system in each of the next three years.

I have been asked to reply.The National Policing Improvement Agency has contracted Northgate Public Services to run PentiP as a managed service for an initial period of seven years. The annual charge for providing the managed service to 44 police forces and their associated courts in England and Wales (including British Transport Police) is as follows:
