Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families how many and what proportion of white (a) boys and (b) girls eligible for free school meals were given (i) permanent and (ii) fixed-period exclusions in each of the last five years.

Information for 2007/08 is shown in the table.To provide information for further years would incur disproportionate cost.
