- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families what the average class size in schools in Torbay constituency was in (a) 1997 and (b) 2009.
- Answer

The average class size of maintained primary schools in Torbay was 29.1 in 1997 and 27.2 in 2009; the figures for state funded secondary¹ schools were 21.4 and 20.6 respectively."¹ Includes middle schools as deemed, city technology colleges and academies."
