- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Health what estimate he has made of the likely number of excess deaths attributable to cold weather in January 2010.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) releases provisional mortality statistics for the previous winter every following autumn. These figures are placed on the ONS website once published. It is not possible to get exact figures earlier than this due to time delays from death certification.
