To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families what the ratio of teaching assistants to pupils is at (a) primary and (b) secondary schools in (i) Suffolk, (ii) the East of England and (iii) England.

The following table provides the pupil to teaching assistant ratio in local authority maintained primary and secondary schools in Suffolk local authority, the East of England Government office region and England, January 2009.
