Review of Equality 2025

Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions pursuant to the written ministerial statement of 10 December 2009, Official Report, columns 40-42WS, on the publication of the report of the Review of Equality 2025, for what reasons the report of the review has not been published immediately; and on what date it will be published.

Answer: [holding answer 28 January 2010]: As outlined in the written ministerial statement of 10 December 2009, Official Report, columns 40-42WS, on the publication of the report of the Review of Equality 2025, the report of the Review of Equality 2025 was not published immediately to allow officials in the Office for Disability Issues time to fully consider and implement the recommendations in the report. We are committed to publishing the report and the document will be available by summer 2010.
