Chorley

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families if he will set out, with statistical information as closely related to Chorley constituency as possible, the effect on that constituency of the policies of his Department and its predecessors since 1997.
Answer

Since 1997 the Government have transformed education and childcare with improved outcomes for children and young people. Figures showing the improvement in performance at key stage 2 and at GCSE and equivalents in Chorley are given in the following tables:
