Community Cohesion
- Question
- To ask Her Majesty's Government how much money has been (a) allocated, and (b) committed, to community cohesion projects in 2010–11.
- Answer

£17 million has been committed to local authorities for community cohesion work through the area-based grant. A further £5 million has been allocated to tackling racist intolerance. An announcement on how this additional money will be distributed will be made in due course; and on 21 January the Secretary of State announced an additional £20 million funding for the Connecting Communities Programme in 2010-11.
