- To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families how many and what proportion of pupils in (a) comprehensive and (b) maintained schools (a) sat GCSEs, excluding equivalents in English, English literature, history, at least two sciences, a modern language and mathematics and (b) obtained grade C or higher in each subject in 2009.
