GCSE and GCE A-level

Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families how many and what proportion of pupils in (a) comprehensive and (b) maintained schools sat English, English literature and mathematics GCSE examinations, excluding equivalents in 2009; and how many and what proportion of such pupils obtained grade C or above in each subject.
