- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many individuals' files were recorded as temporarily lost by the UK Border Agency as of 1 January 2010.

By definition, the exact number of lost files cannot be known however the total number of the agency's case files which are not currently recorded with a clear location is less than 0.18 per cent. of the overall file holding.
