Alcohol

- To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they will alter the relative levels of taxation of beer and spirits.

At Budget 2008, the Chancellor announced that alcohol duty rates on all products would increase by 2 per cent above indexation up to and including 2013. All taxes are kept under review.
