Departmental Ministerial Policy Advisers

- To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many full-time equivalent staff of each grade are employed by his Department to assist special advisers.
- Answer

It is the primary responsibility of one member of the Northern Ireland Office (NIO) to assist special advisers. The staff member is at executive officer (EO) level and carries out other tasks too.
