Pensioners
- Question
- What recent discussions he has had with the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions on support for pensioners in Wales.
- Answer
-
Let me first pay tribute to my hon. Friend, who is standing down after many years' service in the House. Labour policies since 1997 have provided generous support for pensioners in Wales and across the United Kingdom, and nearly 900,000 fewer of them are now living in poverty.
