To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families how many and what percentage of students eligible for free school meals gained a GCSE in Latin at each grade in the latest year for which figures are available.
Answer

In 2009, the number and percentage of pupils at the end of key stage 4 who gained a GCSE at each grade in Latin by free school meal (FSM) eligibility is shown in the following table.
