To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families pursuant to the answer to the hon. Member for Surrey Heath of 3 March 2010, Official Report, column 1301-2W, on truancy, what the figures for (a) prosecutions and (b) average fines are for each (i) constituency and (ii) local authority area; and if he will make a statement.
Answer

Figures for (a) prosecutions and (b) average fines, relating to parents not ensuring their child attended school, are not available by either (i) constituency or (ii) local authority area.
