Offences Against Children

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if the Government will take steps to ratify the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse.

[holding answer 29 March 2010]: We are currently taking steps to assess the UK's compliance with its obligations under the convention.
