Advantage West Midlands: Malvern

- To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills what information his Department holds on the latest discussions that have taken place between Advantage West Midlands and QinetiQ on the quantum technology project in Malvern.

BIS is aware that Advantage West Midlands (AWM) has been developing a proposal around the Quantum Technology Partnership with QinetiQ. There have as yet been no formal discussions with AWM about their proposal. Individual project funding and investment decisions are for the RDA board, within the context of the RDA budget allocation.
