Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Education how much his Department spent on first quarter grant payments to each local authority in the West Midlands in respect of the ContactPoint database in June 2010; and if he will make a statement.
Answer

The Department for Education has provided grant funding to local authorities and national partners to support the local implementation of ContactPoint. The following amounts were made in grant payments to the 14 children's services authorities in the West Midlands in the first quarter of the 2010-11 financial year.
