Motorways: Ashton under Lyne

- To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what the frequency of grass cutting and litter collection is on the area surrounding Junction 2 on the M67.
- Answer

The frequency of grass cutting is determined by regular inspections to ensure that the grass is kept at a level that will not affect visibility for motorists. The Highways Agency continually monitors the entire length of the M67, including Junction 2, and cuts the grass on its land as and when required. This continual monitoring also determines the timing of the Agency's litter clearance exercises along the M67.
